Download an archive

You can request an archive with or without Roamer Plus.

  1. Sign in and open Account → Data.
  2. Under Exports, choose Request export.
  3. Roamer prepares your archive in the background. You can close the page and come back to check on it. If your email address is verified, Roamer emails you when it's ready.
  4. Return to the same section and choose Download ZIP within seven days.

What's in the archive

The ZIP holds your account details and preferences, vehicles, drives, charges, trips, saved places, and the vehicle history still stored in Roamer, including imported history. Deleted or expired data can't be recovered.

The data files use JSON Lines (.jsonl), one record per line. The included README.txt explains how to read them, and manifest.json describes the files and fields. Passwords, sign-in tokens and payment-card details are left out.

The archive is a copy for your records; Roamer can't import it back. For CSV files of selected drives and charges, use Export on the Activity page.

Delete your account

Request deletion in Account → Security. Roamer signs you out right away, stops tracking your vehicles, then deletes your account, vehicle history, drives, charges, uploads and analytics. If your email address is verified, Roamer emails you when it's done.

Limited operational logs, encrypted backups, and records a payment processor must keep follow the timelines in the Privacy Policy. Download an archive first if you want a copy.
