Wheel and Tire Swap

If you swap wheels and tires on your vehicle, you can now update your vehicle’s configuration to match, so that your vehicle provides accurate range and efficiency estimates, as well as optimal driving performance and handling. With this feature, you can save up to six wheel and tire configurations, and you can set and track the tire mileage and rotation reminders for each configuration, both in-vehicle and on the mobile app. Go to Settings > Vehicle > Service > Wheels and tires on the center display. To view the current wheel and tire configuration on the Rivian mobile app version 2.20.0 or later, open the Vehicle tab and choose Vehicle Health. For information about how to change a tire, open the Owner's Guide and search for Tire Change.

New Drive Mode for Performance Dual-Motor Vehicles

With this software update, we’ve made Performance Dual-Motor vehicles more capable. Go to Drive Modes > Off-Road on the center display to access Rally mode.

Performance Upgrade Available For Purchase

For Dual-Motor vehicles that weren’t originally purchased with the Performance Upgrade, you can unlock faster acceleration and more torque from your vehicle's drive system with the new Performance Upgrade. This upgrade, now available for eligible vehicles, also enhances your driving experience with three additional drive modes:

  • Sport mode prioritizes on-road vehicle performance and a responsive driving experience.
  • Soft Sand mode maximizes vehicle performance and capability in deep sand.
  • Rally mode delivers heightened throttle response and crisper steering response on almost any surface, including ice, mud, dirt, or asphalt.

To make your one-time purchase of this upgrade, sign in to your Rivian account or use the Rivian mobile app version 2.20.0 or later. Navigate to Profile > Manage account > Upgrades.

Auto-Tilting of Side Mirrors in Reverse

The side mirrors can automatically tilt down when you shift the vehicle into R (Reverse) to help you parallel park or back your vehicle into a space. You can also customize the tilt positions and save them to your profile while the vehicle is parked. This feature is disabled by default. To enable it, go to Settings > Vehicle > Access and turn on Side mirror auto-tilting.
