What's New

Temperature has a big impact on your Rivian's efficiency. In colder months your vehicle works harder to keep the battery warm, and you'll lose some regenerative braking too. You can now see that impact with the new By Temperature chart on the Efficiency page.

Electricity rate change? Now you can recalculate your previous sessions from your account preferences.

Note: This will not impact any manual or location based overrides.

Every new drive session now records the conditions you drove in: temperature, wind, and precipitation, sampled along the route.

Note: Existing sessions will be enriched over the coming weeks.

What's new:

• Equivalent cycles to date. Every session you've recorded, summed and normalized into full-pack cycles. One cycle equals 100% of usable pack capacity, regardless of how many sessions it took to get there. Five 20% top-ups count as one cycle, same as a single 0-to-100.
• Daily charging graph. Stacked by charge type so you can see your AC vs DC fast-charging mix at a glance, with total kWh added and the equivalent cycle count for each day.

Why the split matters: DC fast charging and AC charging don't stress the cells the same way. Fast charging adds heat and pulls hard on the chemistry. Level 2 at home is gentler. Until now you had a vague sense of your ratio. Now you have the number.

Getting ready for that big upcoming adventure? Now you can create open-ended trips on Rivian Roamer. Just toggle "Keep this open" and any sessions arriving for the dates specified will be automatically added to your trip.

Are you on pace to hit your annual mileage goal? The Mileage page now projects where you'll land based on your driving so far this year. New for Roamer Plus.

Efficiency just got a new neighbor. Fleet comparison.

Open the efficiency page and you'll see how you rank against other Roamers with the same configuration. Along with the comparison against EPA rating you can get an idea for how efficient your drives are.

Knowing your phantom drain on a given day is useful. Seeing how it changes over weeks and months is where it gets interesting.

Phantom Drain History charts your daily battery loss over time, broken down by Gear Guard, Awake, and Asleep states — with summary stats for average drain per day, Gear Guard's contribution, and estimated range lost.

Do you always feel like you're last in a software update rollout? Now you can see how far into the rollout you were flagged for a given update.

Note: This determines your position within a major release based on the first time your vheicle was flagged within that release. A major release is designated by the year.month pattern, meaning 2026.03.
