Ask ChatGPT or Claude about your Rivian
Roamer's MCP server is part of Roamer Plus, which records every reading your Rivian sends. Add it to ChatGPT or Claude and ask about your drives, charging, battery and those raw readings. The assistant can chart and explain them.

Chart my 50-minute fast charge from July against similar R1s. Why was it so slow?
Your R1T matched similar R1s up to 28%, holding about 197 kW. Then it dropped to a flat 99 kW from 35% to 49%, for 13 minutes, where similar R1s run around 170 kW.
- The flat stretch ended with a jump straight back to 149 kW, so it doesn't look like the battery tapering. Rivian reported no reason for it; the charger holding back power is my guess.
- From 55% to 71%, Rivian slowed the charge for 11 minutes to keep the cabin cool.
- In all: 120.2 kWh from 1.8% to 77.2%, for $56.42.
What's my average efficiency on my morning drive to the trailhead, and what does that drive cost me to recharge?
Your morning drive to the Trailhead averages 2.25 mi/kWh, 84% of the R1S's rated 2.68. Recharging after it costs about $0.60–0.65.
- Each morning leg is 8.5–8.9 mi and uses 3.5–4.3 kWh. You charge at Home at your saved rate of $0.15/kWh, which works out to $0.071/mi.
- On recent mornings your efficiency ranged from 2.07 to 2.55 mi/kWh.
- The round trip comes to about $1.25 a day.
Is my R1S's battery losing capacity?
No. Your R1S's capacity hasn't dropped in any way you'd notice. In May it averaged 142.4 kWh. Its best month was October at 142.6 kWh, so that's 0.1% lower.
| Month | Average usable | Odometer |
|---|---|---|
| Oct 2025 | 142.6 kWh | 5,027 mi |
| Jan 2026 | 139.7 kWh | 7,444 mi |
| May 2026 | 142.4 kWh | 10,136 mi |
- The winter dip came back. Capacity fell about 3 kWh from December to March, then came back by April. That fits how cold weather moves Rivian's estimate, so it wasn't lasting loss.
- Range at 100% is unaffected. The pack is 0.9 kWh above the estimated buffer line of 141.6 kWh. Above that line, Rivian keeps the range shown at 100% the same.
How many business miles did I drive this year, and what's that worth at the IRS rate?
You drove 408.4 business miles this year across 46 drives tagged Business. At the 2026 IRS standard mileage rate of 72.5¢/mile, that comes to about $296.
The rate is from my own knowledge, not from Roamer, so check it on irs.gov before you file. Each drive's details include its start and end odometer readings for your IRS log.
