Which R2 tires are most efficient?

The comparison ranks tires by observed efficiency, with vehicle counts and tracked distance beside each result. Higher mi/kWh means more distance for the same energy. Check the sample size as well as the ranking: a result from one vehicle tells you less about the wider fleet than a result from many vehicles.

How much range do all-terrain tires cost?

These results show what different R2 owners achieved. They do not isolate the effect of changing tires on the same vehicle. Weather, speed, routes, vehicle configuration and driving style can explain differences between averages. A small gap between the 20-inch and 21-inch results is not a measured range penalty from the tires alone.

How Roamer measures R2 tire efficiency

Roamer combines qualifying tracked drives from participating owners who share community data. Each drive is associated with a recorded wheel and tire configuration. Efficiency is the total distance divided by total energy consumed across those drives. Longer drives contribute more distance and energy to the result.

The main figures exclude towing. Where enough towing drives are available, towing efficiency appears separately. R2 results are kept separate from R1T and R1S results. Vehicle counts identify distinct contributing vehicles; a vehicle that has used multiple tires can contribute to more than one row.

The comparison updates as driving data is processed, with results cached for up to six hours. An absent tire means Roamer does not yet have qualifying data to display, not that the tire is incompatible or inefficient.
