Buying or Leasing a Rivian out of state

It is possible to buy or lease a Rivian vehicle out of state and many users of Rivian Roamer have! However, you will be responsible for arranging transportation or adventuring your new Rivian home.

Not all states allow out of state purchases and in some cases you may have to pay sales tax twice.

If you are planning to buy or lease a Rivian out of state, we recommend reaching out to the Rivian guide to discuss your options.

Generally, Rivian does not allow leasing a vehicle based in California from other states.
